‘Golf Emperor’ Tiger Woods (USA) designs a golf course with a total length of over 8,000 yards in Utah, USA.
TGR Design, a golf course design스포츠토토 company run by Woods, announced on the 8th (Korean time) that it was in charge of designing the Marcella Golf Club in Part City, Utah.
Woods said on his social media, “I inform you that I am in charge of designing the Marcella Golf Club course,” and “It will be a course that requires all skills. My intention is to combine contemporary luxury with the Marcella Club’s aspirations to provide a world-class experience.”
Woods, whose career as a player was virtually suspended after suffering a car accident in February 2021, is taking on new challenges, such as launching a golf league that combines golf course design and screen systems. Although he has already designed several golf courses, the Marcella Golf Club is Woods’ first attempt at a mountainous golf course.
The 18-hole Marcella Golf Club is expected to be the longest course in Utah with a total length of over 8,000 yards and will be completed in 2025. The golf course will also entrust Woods with the design of an 18-hole golf course to be added later. It is known that Marcella Golf Club will operate as one of the best golf clubs in Utah, recruiting 500 members.
