KXO’s 2023 season starts off strong.

KXO (Korea 3×3 Basketball Federation) will hold the 2023 KXO 3×3 Hoengseong Tour and the first round of the KXO League on the special court of the Hoengseong Inline Skating Rink in Hoengseong-gun, Gangwon-do on the 23rd and 24th. This tournament is hosted by Hoengseong-gun, Hoengseong-gun Sports Association, and Hoengseong-gun Basketball Association, and sponsored by Wilson, Red Bull, Maeil Dairies, and Nasara Taping.

Last January, KXO challenged domestic 3×3 teams to conduct field training in Mongolia, a 3×3 powerhouse in Asia. The first and second rounds of the KXO Winter League were held in February, marking the start of the 2023 Korean 3×3 season.

The Hoengseong Tour, which marks the start of KXO’s 2023 season, will be held in three categories: U18, Men’s Open, and KXO League, and prize money and trophies will be awarded to winning teams in each category.

KXO, which held its first tournament in Seoul every year, will hold its first tournament in Hoengseong this year instead of Seoul. The reason is the high level of satisfaction of players and officials.

The Hoengseong Inline Skating Rink, where the Hoengseong Tour is held, is the best place to hold a 3×3 international competition, and despite being an outdoor arena, it is equipped with a half-dome-shaped facility that allows the event to be held even in rainy weather. Players and officials who experienced Hoengseong’s special court last year showed high satisfaction, and KXO also agreed to start 2023 in Hoengseong after close consultations with Hoengseong-gun.

In the case of the KXO League, which is attracting the most attention this season, six teams, including Haneul Naeinje, Hansol Remicon, Hanul Construction, Assist X Basketball College, Busan DEPOT134, and Hongcheon Epin, threw their ballots.  안전놀이터

The KXO League, where all the veterans who have been guarding the domestic 3×3 stage for more than four years, are expected to compete fiercely for the right to participate in the ‘FIBA 3×3 Hongcheon Challenger 2023’ scheduled to be held in Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon-do this October. Based on the results of this season’s KXO League, participation in the FIBA 3×3 Hongcheon Challenger 2023 will be decided, and it is expected that each round of competition will be exciting.

KXO is negotiating with FIBA to change the level of the KXO League competition to secure FIBA 3×3 points for players participating in the KXO League this season. Among the FIBA 3×3 competition levels, which are divided into 11 stages, we are discussing securing the 5th and 6th stages. If the discussion with FIBA ends smoothly, the players participating in the KXO League are expected to be able to secure more points than any other competition in Korea.

All matches of the 2023 KXO 3×3 Hoengseong Tour and the first round of the KXO League, starting on the 23rd, will be broadcast live on YouTube.
